Clients

Our client list  is more about the quality of work we do,  helping people with web mapping at various levels.

 Transport for London

Working for Transport for London back in 2005 GISTech developed one of the first fully featured web mapping tools to use MapXtreme Java Technology, Ajax and Clientside digitisation.

Wow, what does all that mean?   Well put simply, our breif was to deliver a mapping product that could be used accross 33 London boroughs and various utility companies, all using different machine setups, that would not require any installation of any plugins, such as Flash or SVG, but still offer a rich client user experience and have the ability to draw.

Well quite clearly this was quite a tall order, but after analysis of tools available and writing some interesting tools around them, a fully featured DHTML mapping site was born.

 Lloyds Pharmacy

Although the work for Lloyds was not of a GIS nature the company was able to help them migrate they codebase from IBM java to Sun java and standard java development tools.

The reduction from several thousand reported erroers in the code was reduced to just a handful, and the code refactoring to embrace more of the functionality of the Spring framework.

 SERVICEPower Plc

We were very happy to get asked along to help such a company. SERVICEPower's reputation in the service management industry is very strong and they deliver cross platform schduling software for some major blue chip companies.

The work is actually part of an ongoing project so details can not be published at this time, but I can say that the end result will give SERVICEPower an even stronger foothold in the market place.
